The Golden Age of Boxing differs for some. I grew up in the 70s as a kid and in the 80s as a teenager. For me, those were "My Golden Years of Boxing." Fans say the 90s was the boxing pay-per-view golden era.

NCVBA Annual Picnic August 29th
This year‘s Northern California Veteran Boxers Association annual picnic will be held on Saturday, August 29th from 11AM until 5PM at McNear‘s Beach Park in Marin. All members and their families are invited to attend (for free!)

On August 21st one of our newest members, Emmanuel Rivera, will be co-curating the opening of a new exhibit about boxing at the San Francisco Main Library.
